This attractively restored farm labourer’s dwelling from 1859 (municipal monument) is beautifully situated in natural surroundings. The entrance to the dunes is only 300 m away (Duin en Kruidberg).
In the direct vicinity of the house one finds the ruins of Castle Brederode, dunes, the beach, IJmuiden with its fishing harbour and sluices and the friendly village of Santpoort-Noord with its delightful shops and restaurants. The Santpoort-Noord railway station is within walking distance (Haarlem 5 minutes; Amsterdam 15 minutes).
An ideal place to combine peace and quiet with some fun on the town.
Cycling, walking, shopping, museums – anything is possible!
Arrangement of the house:
Ground floor: Kitchen with dining corner, living room, bedroom (double bed) and bathroom.
First floor: Second bedroom with two single beds.
The house is fitted with all the modern conveniences: a kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hot plate, oven, Senseo coffee machine, electric kettle, TV, etc.
With wireless internet ( Wi-Fi)
In addition, it has a nice spacious garden with a splendid view of the meadows and dunes.
The house has all modern cons but still retains the atmosphere of a century ago.
Long weekend and mid-week arrangements are also an option. Pets are welcome in consultation.
